Play a key role in producing award-winning UK sparkling wines with a business at the forefront of sustainable winemaking.

 

Our client has grown from strength to strength over several years establishing itself as a noted UK winemaker. 

 

The role is open to UK and international candidates alike. The employer is an accredited UK Skilled Worker Visa sponsor. 

 

You will have experience leading the production of high volume, traditional method sparkling wines and will be able to hit the ground running in managing disgorging and bottling through to the final product.

 

Leadership qualities will also be core to the role.  If you have the ability to influence and mentor other wine professionals, we're keen to hear from you.

 

Role Overview:

- Lead the winery production team of Ass. Winemakers, Cellar Hands and other operations staff.

 - Manage the full production process to include disgorging, bottling, riddling and labelling.

- Build strong team ethic working closely with multi-functional wine professionals. 

- Optimise production efficiencies across the winery and implement through SOPs.

- Ensure adherence to relevant policies and standards (HACCP, QA, H&S)

- Oversee logistics and stock management.

- Flexible working where necessary. 

 

Your profile:

 - Proven experience of leading the production of high volume, traditional method sparkling wines.

- Strong relationship building ability and communication skills.

- Passion for developing staff.

- Well rounded organisation and problem-solving abilities.
