Are you an Agri-salesperson based in the North of England with experience in growing?
Our client, a multinational seed producer is seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to join their team. They will manage the sales of arable inputs to agricultural and amenity business accounts within the Northern England territory.
The successful person will become a trusted partner to their customers, working closely with businesses to understand their objectives and offer tailored support.
Additionally, you will play a key role in securing new clients and will have the opportunity to get involved in mentoring other team members.
Direct technical knowledge of seed is advantageous but not essential. You will have the benefit of a supportive expert product team around you.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee, manage, and develop a portfolio of regional customers, including distributors and end users.
• Regional Sales ManagerEnsure service levels do not falter from the high standards their customers are used to.
• Embrace the company’s commitment to customer service, ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything they do.
• Understand your products; study the varieties of seed products (rye grass, forage, lawn grass), turfs and lawn solutions
• Foster and grow accounts, providing technical knowledge and commercial insights to aid in the development of the customer’s business or projects.
• Provide relevant and timely advice on products, key features, and application techniques to distributors and end-users.
• Offer guidance on best practice for soil health, demonstrate how products can help achieve optimal soil outcomes.
• Promote the company and its brand at every occasion, effectively communicating the value of its products
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records utilising the company’s CRM system
Business Development Responsibilities:
• Utilise your industry knowledge, technical skills, and network to grow the seed business within your defined region.
• Establish network of customers across the North of England and into the Scottish Borders including Schools, Sports Facilities, Councils, Agricultural Business, and Farmers.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and other events as directed by your line manager, including occasional overnight stays
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns and events, offering technical expertise as required.
• Identify and evaluate potential business targets using market awareness and in line with company prospecting parameters.
