As a Farm Assessor, you'll step away from the day-to-day demands of farm work, while staying connected to the industry. In this role, you ll carry out assessments of pig and poultry farms, ensuring they meet high welfare standards. You ll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of farmers, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve best practices.

We are seeking candidates based in the East Midlands/East of England region - Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.

The role:

• Travel Extensive travel
• Assessments Conduct thorough farm assessments in adherence to the assurance scheme.
• Feedback Provide verbal assessment feedback and create a written report.
• Unannounced monitoring visits conduct unannounced monitoring visits and review corrective actions for compliance.
• Admin Schedule assessments, write reports and maintain records

About you:

• 2 or more years of experience working on a commercial livestock farm
• UK driving licence
• Willing to travel extensively
• Commitment to high welfare standards
• Poultry experience
• Based in East Midlands/East of England
