What you will be doing:
Providing agronomic advice to a portfolio of farming clients
Keeping up to date with developments in the industry including environmental legislation, best practices and then passing that knowledge on to your customers
Visiting farms to build relationships and offer guidance
Tailoring recommendations based on factors such as crop objectives, environmental needs and soil health
Building your client base across North Devon and Somerset
You Should Have:
Experience as an agronomist, preferably across cereals
An existing ledger of farming customers
The ability to advise and consult growers
BASIS and FACTS qualifications
A good understanding of UK arable farming
Sound grasp of UK agronomic regulatory frameworks
