This agriculture salesperson role can offer a long-term route to success. You will do this by developing and maintaining a portfolio of farming customers across the UK.
This position sits as a senior sales role (Field) within the Softs & Agricultural commodity desk at an FCA regulated brokerage in City of London. The role is based out in the field, with expectation of bi-monthly/monthly visit to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new prospective clients across all the agriculture sectors within Cereals & Oilseeds, Soft commodities and fuels.
Attend relevant Agri-industry events/forums
Educate and sell hedging strategies to businesses with commodity risk.
Drive new business through warm lead, referrals and previous relationships
Collaborate with the trading team to deliver tailored solutions
Desirable Skillset Includes:
Experience and knowledge of the agriculture sector
A client base whom you have built relationships with over time and able to transfer across.
Self-started mentality Structured and Independent
Credibility and confidence to build relationships
Commercial acumen and consultative skills
Full driving licence
