Territory Manager – Beef Confinement Barn Market
Location: Midwest (Remote with 50% travel)
Industry: Livestock Equipment / Beef Cattle Comfort Solutions


About the Role

Our client, a leading agricultural manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Territory Manager to lead market development for premium beef cattle comfort solutions. This role is focused on confinement barn builds, dealer relationships, and feedlot upgrades.

It’s a ground-floor opportunity to shape dealer networks, influence barn specs, and drive adoption of innovative matting systems designed to enhance animal safety, comfort, and facility performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand dealer relationships across key Midwest territories
  • Collaborate with barn builders to influence design specs and integrate comfort solutions
  • Promote premium rubber matting for feedlots and beef confinement barns
  • Identify and support opportunities for slatted flooring system integration
  • Deliver on-farm demos and training with dealers and producers
  • Represent the brand at producer meetings, local shows, and barn tours
  • Drive replacement mat sales and support lifecycle product adoption
  • Maintain CRM entries and territory activity plans


Ideal Candidate Profile

Industry Background

  • 5+ years in beef cattle, feedlot, or livestock equipment sales
  • Strong knowledge of confinement barn systems and animal handling

Sales Experience

  • Proven B2B or project-based sales success in ag or livestock equipment
  • Experience working with barn builders, regional dealers, and producers

Technical Aptitude

  • Understanding of barn design, slatted flooring, and mat installation
  • Ability to train dealers and support field demos

Soft Skills

  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy
  • Down-to-earth communicator with producers and builders
  • Persistent, practical, and approachable problem solver

Location & Travel

  • Based in the Midwest near a key beef production region
  • Willing to travel regionally up to 50%

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Existing network in the beef or livestock equipment industry
  • Experience using CRM tools or territory planning systems
