Our client, a successful capital equipment dealer, is searching for a Regional Sales Manager in the Neepawa area. The Regional Sales Manager will coach and mentor a team for career development and succession planning, as well as ensuring that sales goals are met or exceeded.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coach sales professionals in three branches
- Create and manage development plans for the team of sales representatives
- Ensure sales metrics and goals are met for the region
- Manage sales budgets for the branches, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
- May be involved in the development and implementation of incentive plans for sales team and customers
- Work to build and maintain a supportive and constructive internal relations, and effective and productive team dynamics
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Post-secondary education in Ag Business, Marketing or related field; Associates/Bachelors degree preferred. Equivalent education or experience may be considered
- 5+ years sales experience, 1+ years sales management experience
- Managerial abilities including leading, coaching, developing and motivating others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in individual or group settings
- Ability to define and implement sales processes, use sales computer applications and tools as well as confidence in using computer applications, technology and tools
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willing to travel and able to work flexible hours
