Our client, a leading agricultural-based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for their state-of-the-art pork processing facility in Iowa. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a bi-lingual maintenance team to ensure operational excellence.
• Plan and manage plant outages, projects, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Maintain organized plant documentation, including drawings, equipment files, and OEM specs.
• Partner with equipment suppliers to improve plant processes and reduce downtime.
• Oversee budget adherence, parts procurement, and accurate inventory management.
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and plant housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of maintenance supervision experience required.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical/PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (boilers and freezers preferred).
• Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations in food processing.
• Strong PC skills, including experience with computerized maintenance programs and MS Office.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
