Our client, a leading supplier of crop protection products, crop nutrients and seeds is hiring a Location Manager for their facility in Southwestern Ontario.
The Location Manager will be responsible for directing all aspects of the daily operations of the facility and managing the team while helping to create a positive customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight and direction to all employees at the location
- Coach mentor and develop staff, including new employee onboarding
- Direct all aspects and the daily operations of the facility
- Manage overall operational, budgetary and financial responsibilities and activities of the location
- Responsible for growing the volume of crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seeking out new business opportunities
- Direct and assist the sales, admin and operations team in achieving goals
- Responsible for ensuring that health and safety goals are being achieved
DESIRED PROFILE:
- 10+ years of agriculture industry experience, preferable in the crop sector
- Strong familiarity with the agricultural and agribusiness sectors and industries
- Experience managing a team
- Experience managing a budget
