Our client, a leading company in the supply chain and ag-tech sector, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth within enterprise accounts in the dairy and cheese-making space in the French market. This role focuses on cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering profitable growth through strategic sales of software solutions. This position will require travel to Europe, primarily France. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dairy and cheese-making industry.
As a trusted client advisor, you’ll leverage value-based selling to drive expansion of the company’s software solutions, building long-term relationships across the Grain, Feed, Dairy, Cheese-making, and other related industries. This role requires a combination of strategic vision and hands-on leadership to ensure commercial success and foster a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Enterprise Growth: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s software offerings, specifically how they meet the business needs of dairy and cheese-making enterprises.
- Client Presentations: Lead high-level sales presentations to enterprise clients, clearly articulating the value of the company’s software solutions.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Grow annual recurring revenue by hitting or exceeding quarterly sales goals.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams (business unit leaders, technology groups, and service teams) to negotiate and close business.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong pipeline of business opportunities, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop long-term sales strategies for key dairy and cheese-making accounts, identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Client Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with enterprise stakeholders, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account revenue predictions; update CRM with key activities and status.
- Customer Success Partnership: Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Other Duties: Lead or participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent; 2-4 years of related experience in enterprise sales, ideally within the dairy or cheese-making industry.
- Proven track record of selling SaaS, software, or subscription-based products and services, especially in the dairy, food production, or similar industries.
- Fluency in French is required, as the role involves working with French-speaking clients.
- Experience in selling to C-level executives and managing sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals.
- Familiarity with supply chain services, particularly in the dairy, cheese-making, or agricultural industries.
- CRM proficiency and a track record of using CRM tools to log activities and track sales progress.
- Ability to assess market trends and adapt sales strategies proactively.
- Ability to travel - approximately 25%-50% for client meetings and events while working remotely.
