We re seeking an AgTech Field Engineer to join our client s team and support the testing and validation of cutting-edge agricultural equipment. Based on-site in Omaha, NE, this is a hands-on role with significant fieldwork, heavy travel, overtime opportunities, and the chance to contribute to innovative product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and lab tests on agricultural machinery, including functional and durability testing.
  • Fabricate test parts and prototypes as needed.
  • Record and communicate test results clearly to engineering teams.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and tools in the shop and field.
  • Travel extensively (including multi-week stays during harvest season) to test sites in North America and occasionally internationally.

 

What We re Looking For

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field preferred but hands-on experience is equally valued.
  • Familiarity with agricultural equipment and farming practices is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Experience with testing, fabrication, welding, or operation of heavy machinery is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver s license, clean driving record, and a passport.
