About the Role:
Our client, who designs and constructs livestock, hog, and post-frame buildings, is hiring a Construction Site Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing all construction processes, providing leadership, direction, and management of agricultural construction sites. To be successful, candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. This position supports Iowa and surrounding states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-site representative, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
- Manage construction schedules, assign work, and coordinate with management to minimize risks.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and project objectives.
- Track materials, equipment, and maintenance needs on site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction drawings.
- Conduct safety and quality inspections, enforcing OSHA compliance.
- Supervise company crews and subcontractors, directing daily operations.
- Coordinate concrete, construction, installation, and electrical crews.
- Build strong customer relationships and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Complete daily, weekly, and project reports; collaborate with owners, estimators, and sales teams.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of construction experience with proven project management success.
- Knowledge of construction equipment, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple sites.
- Valid driver's license; post-offer background check and drug screen required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:
