Our client, a school in Alberta, is looking to hire a DVM Instructor to join their team. The DVM Instructor will have the opportunity to be a pivotal part of empowering students and educating students to help prepare them for work in the real world.

The DVM Instructor role will be a full-time position, in Alberta, allowing the right candidate the opportunity to enjoy work-life balance with no emergency on-call or rotational work.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading classroom labs and field trips
• Developing and evaluating assessments
• Delivering curriculum on subjects such as Pharmacology, Animal Nursing, Surgery, Dentistry, Anesthesia and Animal Diseases
• Employing innovative teaching methods, active learning and student

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Registration as DVM in good standing with the ABVMA
• A minimum 3 years of industry experience with both large and small animals
• Proficiency in essential Microsoft Applications and a familiarity with Avimark is advantageous
• Capability to present information professionally and facilitate engaging discussions
• Commitment to collaboration and professional accountability
