Our client, due to company growth is seeking a hands-on Bakery Supervisor to lead and inspire their team while ensuring high quality products and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll oversee daily bakery operations, maintain food safety and quality standards, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate bakery team members, assigning tasks to meet production goals.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, health, and company standards.
- Support hands-on production and share expertise for best practices.
- Monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Train staff, manage schedules, and document performance metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in bakery/food manufacturing; leadership experience preferred.
- Post-secondary education preferred, but not essential
- Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to manage production schedules.
