We have an exciting opportunity as a Transportation and Warehousing Logistics Specialist, based either on our Drusenheim (67) or Cernay (68) site in Alsace, France. This is a permanent position. Part of the EMEA Supply Chain team, you are the focal point for the export center, and you are responsible for the East Europe Warehouses.
Your Challenge:
Leads improvements on area of functional expertise ( transportation mode, carrier management, warehouse management) monitoring the performance of key activities to meet or exceed service expectations.
Accountable to provide logistics expertise by identifying, analyzing and measuring improvements to key processes and procedures.
Adds value to logistics work processes by leading innovation and continuous improvement program.
Manages annual budget for logistics operations and identifies opportunities to minimize cost-to-serve through process improvement.
Effectively contributes to the design and development of logistics plans consistent with business/functional responsibility.
Provides expertise and support in International Trade Operations, developing and driving logistics solutions across multiple regions.
Provides expertise and supports EH&S (Environment, Health and Safety) goals across all modes of transport and storage. May conduct carrier and warehouse safety and security assessments.
Drives training for process, systems, tools, methodology, and functional disciplines.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics consultancy and leadership positions.
University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Management with expertise in Logistics and International Trade Operations.
Substantial knowledge of Information Systems (SAP, other systems and tools)
Knowledge of key metrics to manage logistics functional performance.
