Job Description: DescriptionWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Canola Supply Chain Planner to join our team. This position will support North America's Spring and Winter Canola inventory, production, and packaging plans. What You'll Do:

* Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop multi-year inventory strategy aligned with business needs (i.e. Macro Plan).

* Manage the Volume Plan, which monitors multi-year product level inventory and demand (e.g. carry in, new crop, demand, surplus, and related data) providing supply visibility, driving new crop needs, and inventory utilization.

* Establish Acreage Plans, detailing growing plans at the product level for our Corteva production locations.

* Partners with internal and external sites to develop RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Plans) and monitors execution towards goals.

* Coordinates material level conditioning and packaging plans for our Corteva and 3rd Party production locations, ensuring packaged volumes meet distribution needs.

* Manage area level supply allocations providing visibility of saleable inventory.

* Drive standardization for the product line, continue to identify areas for improvement, and drive change when necessary.

* Work with Distribution team to ensure timely delivery and return of inventory and direct materials.

* Analyze and share information for effective decision making.

* Represent SPSC key initiatives, responsibilities, and deadlines.

* Assist in the development of performance metrics, gather feedback, and develop goals for continuous performance improvement.

* Proactively analyze and provide improvement recommendations addressing performance gaps to leadership team.

* Update and communicate performance metrics for daily department board and monthly supply review meetings.

QualificationsWhat Skills You Need:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agricultural Business/Economics, Agronomy, or related field

* Minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in managing a specific product line, production, or supply chain (a combination of these experience bases is preferred)

* Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact, persuade, influence and negotiate

* Demonstrated ability to understand needs of the business and proactively identify opportunities for improved product utilization

* Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to handle stress and manage heavy workloads at peak business times of year

* Demonstrated ability to manage through change and organizational challenges to maintain satisfied customers and obtain business goals

* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage conflict

* Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner with strong negotiating capability

* Demonstrated computer aptitude with competency in Excel and PowerPoint

* APICS Certified

* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of agriculture seed products including performance, positioning and placement

* Demonstrated understanding of the agriculture sales and production process

* Demonstrated knowledge of ag business including supply/demand planning

* Experience with SAP R3, IBP, SeedPro, Managed Supply, PowerBi
