Corteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont has an exciting opportunity for Global Procurement Functional Excellence-Talent Development Leader based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced professional to drive Procurement Functional Excellence and lead our new talent development initiatives.
The successful candidate will assume the full ownership of the Procurement function talent development program, also work closely with the Corteva Procurement leadership team, cross-functional team and HR to actively recruit, retain and rotate our talents across positions. S/he is required to develop and deliver internal and external talent development strategies and implementation planning for the function. S/he must be able to develop strong relationship with key stakeholders within and external to the organization as an essential success factor in leading/consulting on for Procurement-led projects and promoting the Procurement brand throughout Corteva. In addition, s/he will have primary ownership of the learning content and use of the internal SharePoint site
Key activities may include:
Demonstrate abilities to develop and implement Procurement Talent Management strategies and playbook, manage the functions Learning and Development program and process efficiently.
Identify, investigate, and recommend external development resources. Lead a global virtual team to monitor platform/regional developmental needs and maintain global delivery of development opportunities within the function.
Work closely with cross-functional teams. Counsel, advise and manage new hires as needed for the function, globally.
Lead the global new employee onboarding program.
Develop communication strategies and drive projects from inception to implementation, with the ability to think and plan strategically while acting tactically. Develop work plans and actively manage timelines and resources to achieve agreed upon business objectives
Become the Procurements Brand Ambassador.
Serve as the content curator for the functional competency and talent development intranet site and advise users on how to optimize the collaboration potential of SharePoint and other learning tools. In addition, serve as the Procurement representative to HR to monitor and oversee changes, campaigns, and implementations impacting the function.
Become a subject matter expert for several of the processes owned by the Strategic Processes and Transformation Team. Drive incremental improvement of Sourcing processes and systems
Qualifications - Required:
Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Communications, HR and/or Business Degree preferred
Over 10 years of experiences leading complex talent development projects
Highly effective written and verbal communications, interpersonal communications, and presentation skills. Ability to distill complex concepts into audience-appropriate messaging. Writing sample will be required.
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Familiarity with SharePoint and other learning platforms; willingness to achieve expert-level proficiency.
Ability to manage priorities and execute projects with minimal direct guidance, able to thrive in an uncertain/ambiguous environment
Ability to think strategically and act tactically
Strong influence, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to develop relationships at every level of the organization; able to serve as trusted consultant/communications coach to function leaders
Excellent organizational skills and mentoring/coaching skills
Qualifications - Desired:
Experience in a leadership or SME role in developing complex learning and training programs
Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint
Extensive change management experience
