CortevaAgriscience is seeking an experienced Demand Analyst tojoin our team. The Demand Analyst within Supply Chain willparticipate in the development of computer applications that meet definedproduct and demand forecasting requirements.  These applicationsfacilitate the sharing of information to assist business decision-making and tosupport the daily operations of the business. Team with technical staff tomanage SAS development and production environments.  Manage databaseupdates and connectivity.  Primary data steward for multiple keyvariables.  Responsible for transforming data into information via reportsand graphic development.

Responsibilities - WhatYou Will Do:

  • DemandPlanning Application and Report Development:  25%
    Analyze, design, prototype, test, document and implement new or modify existingsoftware to support demand planning applications.  Projects may involveboth specification design and code development.  Work entails creation ofbasic to moderately complex executable programs and/or reports, andtroubleshooting and communicating business needs to IT.  Work alsoincludes coordination with technical staff to identify and implement optimumdevelopment and production environments.  Ensure systems delivered meetthe defined business requirements and timelines. 

  • DemandPlanning Data Management: 25%
    Ensuredata integrity for completeness, accuracy, process flows, and reportingaccuracy.  Monitor validity of SPIN (Sybase) data being utilized by othertools/applications.  Maintain highest level of stewardship for specificdatabases.  Continually review data extraction and data loading routines,recommending procedural improvements for data storage, decision tools, designand report formats.  Ensures information timelines, accessibility, accuracyand relevancy.  Partner with Product Line Managers to update/load producttrait characteristics into database.  Steward of North America Productlists. 
  • Systems/ProjectManagement: 20%
    Enhancedata collection processes where applicable to maintain health of system(s) andease of use.  Support the utilization of the demand planning systems andinformation.  Investigate software and data related problems, analyze, andrecommend solutions.  Identify opportunities where system improvements mayfacilitate improved forecasts.  Manage demand planning and other system security.  Participateon and support project teams driving Supply Chain strategy advancement andprocess improvement efforts including implementation efforts involving newreporting or system enhancements. 

  • User Support:  20%
    Workwith Leadership / Project Stewards in defining project plans, estimatingtimeline dates.  Regularly report and coordinate project status with otherproject owners.  Create playbooks, job tutorials, job aids for the varioustools and processes.  Application support for Users at all geographylevels.
  • SupplyChain & Professional Development: 10%
    Support ongoinginvestigation and development of systems, technology, data analytics andprocesses that support Cortevas journey of increasing supply chain maturityand digitization.  Interface with business stakeholders, thought partners,academia and others to increase knowledge in this realm.

Qualifications


Requirements- Who YouAre:

What expertise have yougrown? What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science AND/OR equivalent experience in computer field,preferably with agribusiness background
  • 2+years experience in data management
  • Advancedknowledge with Microsoft Office Products (Access, Excel)
  • Intranetdevelopment tools (In-House Tools) and integrating information management tools
  • Projectmanagement and excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with demandforecasting applications
  • Knowledgeof SAS (SAS Analytical Software)
  • Knowledgeof data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Knowledgeof SQL
  • Knowledgeof SAP structure and functionality
