HR DIRECTOR


We are looking for a driven and ambitious HR Director to improve, develop, and implement HR
strategies, ensuring they align with business objectives. The ideal candidate has experience in
scaling companies and will be aggressive in their talent acquisition strategy. Being driven and a self-
starter in our fast-paced environment is fundamental to the success of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise, develop, and implement HR strategies aligning with business objectives.
  • Work alongside the Executive team to understand the future trajectory of the company, strategizing and implementing the road to success.
  • Evaluate and advise on the company structure, ensuring continued hyper-growth of the core business by rapidly scaling current operations.
  • Successfully integrate acquisitions, leading the people-related aspects of M&A, including due diligence, workforce planning, cultural integration, communication, compliance, and post-merger integration to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with In-House counsel focusing on legal compliance and risk management.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Devise an aggressive talent acquisition strategy to hire, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee performance and succession planning.
  • Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs in line with regulations.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.
  • Manage organizational change initiatives.
  • Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive workplace while mediating conflicts.

 

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an HR manager or other HR executive.
  • Experience in scaling companies.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • BS/MS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's Degree Preferred).
  • At least five years of human resource management experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Must be able to work in-office in Irvine, Monday-Friday.

  • Base Salary: $195,000 - $225,000 (Dependent on Experience).
