Position Overview:
This position in conjunction with the VP of Enterprise Technology Management, is responsible for facilitating the Technology Project Portfolio and related processes. Assists in managing the intake of new work, supporting Business Sponsors in the presentation of new work to Portfolio Governance, analyzing the portfolio for value, risk and strategic alignment. Assists in defining and implementing new policies and processes within the Technology Portfolio Management function within Business Technology. Contributes to the research and implementation of necessary tools, reporting and metrics necessary to ensure a well-balanced, and value-add project portfolio.

Essential Functions:

* Plans, organizes, coordinates and facilitates regular Information Technology Approval and Prioritization (iTAP) meetings as a non-voting member.
* Understands and acts as the subject matter expert within Business Technology (BT) for the technology portfolio management process.
* Partners with business stakeholders on intake of new work into the technology portfolio.
* Manages the technology portfolio repository and related documentation.
* Works in tandem with other BT project/product governance processes to ensure an updated technology portfolio.
* Collaborates with other BT resources to maintain alignment and continuity with Tier 3 intake process.
* Prepares, compiles and distributes communications to the iTAP committee members.
* Works with the VP of Enterprise Technology Management to develop and continuously improve a reporting framework that keeps iTAP Committee members informed on current state of the portfolio and to aid in making decisions for current and future projects.
* Establishes and maintains the dashboard, reporting and metrics for Compeer"s technology portfolio.
* Assists in the effort to continuously improve the BT Portfolio Governance, intake, planning and scheduling processes for Technology Portfolio Management.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Bachelor"s degree in business administration, management information services, computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
* 3-5 years of experience in project, program and/or portfolio management.
* PMP Certification preferred.
* Must possess a high level of understanding of Compeer"s business, processes, and requirements.
* Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
* Strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
* Ability to use required systems and tools for day-to-day activities, including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, MS TFS and ServiceNow.
* Desire to engage in continuous improvement activities, such as root cause analysis, lessons learned and process change management.
* Effective negotiating, consulting and coaching skills.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to set priorities and adapt to changing situations.
* Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
