Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to support Compeer Financial"s Enterprise Financial Management team by understanding and assessing user needs and applying the appropriate technology to improve processes and meet required reporting needs. The individual ensures projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. The Systems Developer works with end-users to gather requirements, plan, develop, test, and support all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the organization"s financial operations information systems. The individual is responsible for daily management and operations of finance business applications including enhancements, bug fixes, interfaces and other business requests and is accountable for technical issue resolution including diagnosis of problems, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction. The individual is involved in new development, rather than vendor-based applications. The Systems Developer also provides written documentation on design and process flow, prioritizing and coordinating multiple small to medium projects at the same time, in order to meet expectations of internal clients.

Essential Functions:

* Application Development/Integration and Support: Work with the Enterprise Financial Management team to plan, develop, test, implement, and support all activities related to the development and integration of software programs and applications for the team. Ensure projects meet business requirements and goals and fulfills end-user requirements. Identify and resolve system issues. Create standards and processes to develop and facilitate projects and initiatives.
* Project Coordination: Coordinate application integration for small to medium size projects. This may involve providing some direction to Enterprise Financial Management team members and outside consultants and/or vendors. Provide guidance to other Systems Developers. Lead and take ownership and responsibility of assigned department projects and process improvement projects.
* Testing: Test newly-integrated software programs and applications. Address issues in program logic. Test the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.
* Documentation: Fully document the various specifications for the new or enhanced processes according to Association standards.
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* A Bachelor"s degree in computer science, information systems or business or related field; or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, financial systems application integration preferred. Direct experience with integration tools such as Web Services is a plus.
* Microsoft certifications in one of the following areas is a plus: Solution Developer, Technology Specialist and Database Developer.
* Required knowledge and experience includes: .NET development (including Visual Studio, C# and ASP.NET); HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft VBA is a plus.
* Knowledge of integration best practices strongly preferred.
* Project management skills required.
* Analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and organizational skills.
* Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Quick learner who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
