Code Custom Farming Ltd. requires 3 Farm Equipment Operators to provide the following duties:

Job details:

Location of work: On site

Salary: $23.00/hour for 40 to 50 hours per week

Vacancies: 3 Vacancies

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Overtime Required

Tasks:

• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health
• Perform livestock feeding
• Treat livestock health issues
• Weaning
• Harvest crops
• Feed and tend animals
• Negotiate with clients for provision of services
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general farm duties

Type of crops: Hay, corn, wheat, forage crop, livestock

Work Setting: Rural area, Remote location, Staff accommodation available

Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor, combine harvester, farm truck, loader. Planting equipment, tillage equipment.

Job Requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years/ Farm management

Languages: English

Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters, Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Tractor, Combine harvester, Haying equipment, Loader, Manure spreader, Planting equipment, Tillage equipment, Skid steer, Hand tools

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads.

Personal suitability: Organized, team player, judgement, reliability.
