Summary

As a member of the enterprise strategy team and reporting to the enterprise strategy director, the enterprise strategy analyst will work with key senior leaders to help define the future of CHS by working on high impact enterprise and business strategy projects. This role will support all aspects of strategy development through activities like competitive and market research, project management, financial modeling, presentation development and other ad-hoc analyses. Additionally, the strategy analyst will play a key role in supporting the annual strategy planning process and subsequently monitoring strategy execution. This role will have a critical impact across the company, ensuring timely, professional support and thought leadership for business, functional and enterprise-level strategies.

The successful candidate will apply a core strategy skill set of analytical problem solving and structured and systems thinking in the design and development of various strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of big picture thinking and ability to go deep into analysis and research.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analyses to drive key strategy activities like market research, competitive intelligence, trends analysis, financial and business case modeling and risk assessments
  • Lead the development of presentations and support facilitation of strategy sessions with senior level stakeholders
  • Partner with corporate development to conduct strategic reviews to analyze incoming M&A opportunities
  • Collaborate with other team members in projects that advance key strategic initiatives
  • Support the execution of the annual strategic planning process including but not limited to working with various business and functional teams to craft annual strategic choices and initiatives
  • Support the development of effective and timely strategy reviews across the organization
  • Manage KPIs and dashboards as necessary for monitoring strategy execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or required, including data gathering and ad hoc analyses


Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, business, marketing, or related fields

  • Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Experience creating professional presentations and materials for a variety of audiences

  • Mindset of continual learning and growth to advance, and challenge, existing ways of working
  • Comfortable interfacing with senior leaders in a professional setting
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex business problems
  • Superior organization and planning skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects to completion with deadlines

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
