Summary

CHS Sun Basin is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant in Moses Lake, WA. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support by managing phone communications, welcoming visitors, processing invoices, and performing accurate data entry across various systems. Strong organizational skills are key, as you'll be responsible for juggling multiple projects, maintaining both electronic and physical files, and ensuring tasks are completed on time. Additional responsibilities include managing office supplies, handling payments and deposits, and working with sensitive materials while upholding strict confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and integrity are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Complete general administrative duties on time with high quality.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, greet and assist visitors, and direct patrons to appropriate personnel.
  • Process invoices, transfer documents and perform accurate data entry into various systems.
  • Collect direct payments, reconcile credit card receipts, and prepare deposits.
  • Assemble and maintain files including accurately entering all information, keeping files updated and maintaining complete electronic file documentation.
  • Order office supplies and maintain a clean office.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet all required timelines.
  • Maintain a full understanding of company products and services.
  • Work with sensitive material and maintain highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 1+ years of experience in Office and Facilities Services
  • 1+ years of experience in Administrative Support


Additional Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business needs
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Familiarity with accounting software, preferred
  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, push, and pull frequently

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
