Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity at our facility in Fairmont, MN. We are looking for an Inventory Assistant to monitor and maintain accurate and uptodate inventories of all maintenance supplies using a computer. Organize and control the plant parts, materials, and supplies to minimize downtime. Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

Receive all incoming freight, tag and input into SAP inventory database
Monitor all inventories of parts and daily maintenance supplies; reorder as needed
Daily use of SAP - to include but not limited to the following:
- Enter purchase requisitions
- Inventory receipts
- Issue part inventory
- Assist plant personnel with SAP questions
- Order tools and all office supplies as needed
- Assist Inventory Manager in a complete physical audit of inventory prior to yearly audit
Conduct orientation to all new hires
Assist employees with insurance/benefit questions and paperwork
Perform backup to the scale technician as needed and help at harvest as needed
Backup during Inventory Manager absence
Ensure that federal and state regulations pertaining to products are observed and adhered to
General administrative duties
Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Minimum Qualifications (required)

1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Inventory Analysis
High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

Work extended hours to meet business demands
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Complete safety training programComplete forklift training
Work extended hours to meet business demands
Working knowledge of SAP with the ability to become a power user

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
