Summary

The Associate Digital Communications Specialist will play a key role in our digital communications efforts, collaborating with a team of marketing and communications professionals across the enterprise to ensure our digital content meets the highest standards. We are looking for a self-driven, ambitious and high-energy professional with a passion for creative thinking and relationship-building. Successful candidates are eager to work on enterprise-wide content projects, take ownership of website updates, contribute to digital strategy, keep up on website best practices and ensure our platforms reflect the CHS brand at the highest standard.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Manage and execute content change requests across 40+ corporate websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
Utilize Sitecore and WordPress content management systems (CMS) to build and maintain webpages.
Publish digital content such as blog articles, press releases and podcasts.
Test new solutions and code releases; provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Ensure content complies with brand guidelines, accessibility standards and site taxonomy.
Partner with colleagues to support enterprise-wide campaigns and digital initiatives.
Manage and update Google Business Profiles to ensure accurate, consistent, and optimized information across locations.
Assist with pulling and compiling website and digital channel analytics to support reporting and identify basic trends.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of marketing or communications experience (internship or equivalent experience welcomed).
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies; interest in learning new platforms.
  • Analytics-minded with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable takeaways.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and ability to create webpages from source content.
  • This is a hybrid position that will report to CHS Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota headquarters 3 days per week.


Additional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field.
Experience working with a CMS (Sitecore, WordPress or similar).
Experience supporting digital campaigns or website content management.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
