Have you been working within a cropping operation and ready to step up to leadership?

A 3,000 hectare broad-acre cropping, hay and sheep property in the Wimmera has created a new position for a Cropping Manager. The property is family owned, and your appointment will add to the current team of two family and two fulltime employees. The position is based 30 kilometres North of Stawell in the Victorian Wimmera.

If you are experienced in modern broad acre cropping practices, motivated by success, enjoy working in a team and are ready to step into a management role, then this is an opportunity for you. The new position is created due to recent farm expansion. The family owners will remain actively involved and will lead the sheep enterprise and strategic direction; with this new position to be focused on managing the cropping enterprise of approximately 2,000 hectares. 

The farm has a long history of working with leading cropping organisations such as GRDC and will promote professional development opportunities with the goal of understanding leading advancements in cropping technology. 

The package includes a generous salary plus 3-bedroom house on farm and a work vehicle. School bus is 100 metres from the house.

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in broadacre cropping
• Desire to grow their career in agriculture
• Good written and verbal communication
• Motivated and enthusiastic about modern cropping practices
