Position Purpose & Summary
The Food Ingredients - Bio-Industrial (FIBI) Enterprise Data Management Lead will be responsible to drive value creation through data exploitation, envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, and data and analytics governance. In this position, the Enterprise Data Management Lead will develop and execute the data & analytics strategy for FIBI globally. This will include partnering with the enterprise leadership team to identify high priority areas where advanced insights will drive unique value for the enterprise/function.
You will be accountable to: develop and drive an end-to-end data and analytics strategy and roadmap for FIBI, including the business case and "practical" first steps for execution; set and execute enterprise-wide governance and utilization of data as an asset; create the bridge between data, technology and the business/function to capture value and drive revenue.; lead a cultural change in which data is viewed as a business asset and not a cost. It is expected that this leader work within FIBI to build a sustainable Enterprise Data Management capability that will continue to innovate and mature as the technology in this space evolves.

40% Strategy Development and Thought Leadership
Develop and execute the strategy, plan, and processes to effectively manage data and analytics across the enterprise/function
Review and assess current data and analytical capabilities and needs; Design and lead plan to build appropriate level of sustainable capabilities within the Enterprise/Function.
Identify new kinds, types and sources of data to drive business innovation throughout the Enterprise/Function. Define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data.
Evaluate use of existing and emerging technology to support the Data & Analytic needs (data platform, visualization tools, predictive analytics, etc)
Educate and teach the organization on new tools/techniques they can use to enhance D&A in the organization
Proactively seek opportunities to drive new insights across the enterprise. Partner with key leaders to develop value opportunities and drive delivery including test, pilot and bring new value realization to the business.
Externally benchmark program and bring innovative ideas, including connecting with external companies to share best practices and stay current with latest technololgy/industry advancements.
40% Data & Analytics Strategy Execution and Governance
Institute a programmatic approach for Enterprise/Function information management to identify, prioritize and execute the data and analytic initiatives with a clear line of sight to enterprise/function strategies and business outcomes.
Educate and teach the organization on new tools/techniques they can use to enhance Data & Analytics in our the organization
Continuously review and prioritize Data & Analytics portfolio of initiatives
Ensure consistant processes and tools across the organization
Ensure effective processes are in place to provide accurate, timely, and insightful data and reporting
Responsible to enhance and influence the integration of data processes, designs and governance across the enterprise/function
Develop and maintain controls on data quality, interoperability and sources to effectively manage corporate risk associated with the use of data and analytics.
Guide business and technology data architectures that have materially positive impact for the organization
Ensure important controls, compliance and security related to data integrity and access are achieved Acts as a strategic liaison between Enterprise/Function Business Leaders and Global IT relative to important data initiatives and projects - ensuring intiatives deliver desired results on time, on budget, and with a high level of quality.
Accountable for D&A portion of the IT budget and ensuring we managing within those parameters on annual basis.
Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.

Utilize data-driven insights to help support exploitation of strategic and tactical business opportunitites, and be a champion for a data-driven, decision-making culture.
Deliver in-depth insights into the end-to-end journeys of customers and supply chains, and how they can be improved using digital technology.
