Job Purpose and Impact
The Manufacturing Technology Senior Engineer will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in the Solar and Evaporation manufacturing technology areas to support the salt manufacturing facilities. This role will help optimize the performance of existing assets by partnering with the site operations and engineering teams and other functions. In this role, you will work to drive efficient and safe performance of each unit operation including process capabilities, performance monitoring, process improvements and support the training and development for the salt manufacturing technologies.
Key Accountabilities
Assess technical performance of assets to identify gaps and solutions.
Provide oversight into the implementation of improvement projects, plans, techniques, tools and quality standards across sites.
Provide guidance to technical design of systems and projects within the solar and evaporation manufacturing technology domains.
Provide manufacturing technology expertise to plants, working with local teams, manufacturing technology strategy and governance teams, other subject matter experts, external experts and technical support to identify and resolve root causes to emerging issues.
Provide leadership in administering and support the creation of related standards for plants in alignment with manufacturing technology systems.
Leading management of complex technical issues.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Project or initiative management experience
Experience in multiple domains such as engineering, production, reliability and capital excellence, research and development and operations management
3 years of experience with related solar or evaporation manufacturing technology
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience with related solar or evaporation manufacturing technology
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Experience working in operations within chemical, food or processing environments
Proficient in data analysis and analytics
Ability to be located at a salt production facility
