This position is in Cargill's agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance and Reliability Senior Supervisor will supervise a team executing the deployment of maintenance practices aligned to production needs for the Westwego, LA grain export facility of Cargill's Agriculture and Trading business. In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards to ensure reliable operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of well-rounded union millwright team members. Ensure strong training and onboarding.
  • Supervise the execution of specific equipment maintenance strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.
  • Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
  • Lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant operations team.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to develop leading practices.
  • Oversee the development of the operational budget to track progress.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience overseeing third party resources to deliver business results
  • Experience working with a union team
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certification
  • Previous supervisory experience
