Principal Accountabilities
Ensure that all equipment is lubricated to meet NLGI standards/OEM specifications
Conduct oil analysis (checking for metal fragments, water intrusion and other contaminants)
Diagnose bearing and wear surface failure and set action plans to correct failures
Maintain all gearboxes to operating levels and notify Maintenance Lead of any leaking seals or excessive noise
Maintain cleanliness ISO standards for all hydraulic units, pull oil samples on schedules and document results
Maintain auto lubrication lines, including plumbing and inspection for damaged or leaking fittings
Use maintenance software (SAP) for writing work orders
Maintain lubrication cabinets, tools, and equipment
Work with other mechanics, leads or supervisors who have priority work needing to be completed
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Previous Maintenance experience
Ability to read, write, and speak English
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a Lubrication Technician strongly preferred
Experience with equipment maintenance preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Formalized/technical training is preferred
