En tant qu'lectromcanicien(ne), vous jouerez un rle cl dans l'entretien et l'amlioration des systmes mcaniques, lectriques et automatiss de notre installation. Vous travaillerez directement avec l'quipement de production, rsoudrez des problmes et contribuerez une exploitation scuritaire et efficace. C'est une excellente opportunit pour une personne qui aime rsoudre des problmes, travailler de ses mains et faire partie d'une quipe qui nourrit les communauts travers le Canada.

Exigences

  • Doit tre lgalement autoris travailler au Canada
  • Doit avoir 18 ans ou plus
  • D.E.P. en lectromcanique ou en mcanique industrielle (ou quivalent qubcois)
  • Minimum de 2 ans d'exprience en milieu industriel ou manufacturier
  • l'aise avec les tches physiques : soulever (jusqu' 50 lb), grimper, s'agenouiller, rester debout pendant de longues priodes
  • Capacit travailler en hauteur et flexibilit pour faire des heures supplmentaires, les fins de semaine ou les jours fris avec pravis
  • Connaissances de base en informatique pour la documentation de maintenance


Responsabilits

  • Effectuer la maintenance prventive et rpondre aux problmes d'quipement pour assurer la continuit de la production
  • Diagnostiquer, rparer et optimiser les systmes mcaniques et lectriques
  • Soutenir le dmarrage de la production le matin et s'assurer que l'quipement est prt
  • Raliser des tches de fabrication, de soudure et de modification au besoin
  • Participer aux projets d'amlioration et de mise niveau des quipements
  • Maintenir un atelier et un environnement d'usine propres et organiss
  • Respecter les normes de scurit alimentaire et de scurit au travail


Qualifications Souhaites

  • Certificat de raccordement d'quipement
  • Exprience en soudure T.I.G.
  • Familiarit avec les quipements d'tiquetage (Bizerba) et d'emballage (Omori, Ulma)
  • Connaissance des normes HACCP et de l'industrie alimentaire
  • Excellentes comptences en communication et en travail d'quipe
  • Autonomie et approche axe sur la scurit

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

As an Electromechanic, you'll be a key player in maintaining and improving the mechanical, electrical, and automated systems that power our facility. You'll work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and being part of a team that feeds communities across Canada.

What You Need

  • Must be currently legal to work in Canada
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods
  • Ability to work at heights and flexible to work overtime, weekends, or holidays with notice
  • Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation


What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to keep production on track
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems
  • Support morning production startup and ensure equipment is ready to go
  • Carry out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed
  • Participate in equipment upgrades and improvement projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop and plant environment
  • Follow food safety and workplace safety standards


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate in equipment connection
  • Experience with T.I.G. welding
  • Familiarity with labeling (Bizerba) and packaging equipment (Omori, Ulma)
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food industry standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-starter with a safety-first mindset
