Principal Accountabilities

• Perform ongoing assigned lead activities including providing support to the team.
• Work with Project coordinator and lead team in daily production to ensure appropriate product quality parameters, sanitary condition of the facility, production efficiency and continuity of operations aligned with food safety requirements and experimental protocols.
• Lead preventative Maintenance and other equipment/mechanical needs
• Coordinate and review the daily reporting and escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisor.
• Use broad understanding to ensure compliance with safety regulations and adhere to permit and exemption procedures while providing guidance.
• Identify, record, and advance Continuous Improvement opportunities
• Conduct training and provide guidance and support for other team members.
• Ability to work weekends and 2 holidays per year
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator?
  • Ability to communicate in English (verbal /written)
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a production or plant environment
  • Ability to work weekends and 2 holidays per year


Preferred Qualifications

• Boiler's License (or ability to obtain license)
• Forklift experience
• Experience with Inventory Systems
