We are growing rapidly and are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead business development and sales activities across the Southern U.S. region. This role is critical in building relationships with agricultural distributors, growers, and channel partners as we scale our biodegradable mulch film and related products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share in the Southern U.S.
- Lead direct sales efforts and establish distribution channels for Southern states to achieve sales targets.
- Identify, engage, and manage agricultural distributors, resellers, and accounts.
- Build strong relationships with growers, farm cooperatives, and channel partners.
- Conduct product presentations, field visits, and technical discussions to educate customers on Carbon Nurture's solutions.
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to support company strategy.
- Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely deliveries, and strong brand presence.
- Represent Carbon Nurture at industry events, trade shows, and conferences in the territory.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of experience in agricultural sales, preferably in crop inputs, plasticulture, ag films, or related sectors.
- Established network within Southern U.S. agriculture (distributors, growers, crop advisors, horticultural specialists, dealers, co-ops).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Ability to travel across the assigned region (approximately 40-50% travel).
- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business, or related field (preferred).
