This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Harvest Help position is responsible for providing temporary assistance to the plant in preparation for and during the harvest season. Candidates must actively participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.
Position Details:
This is a temporary position to assist during the harvest season. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and 2nd/3rd shifts. This position covers other employees' vacations on all shifts. Starting pay is $24.75.
What You'll Be Doing:
Clean silos and bowls in preparation for harvest
Provide relief for regular employees
Operate bean dump scales
Operate conveyors to direct beans to proper silo
Process paperwork per department procedures
Perform cleaning within the department as directed
Report any concerns with safe food practices
Work safely and assist coworkers as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED preferred
Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift
