Bunge is hiring for multiple full-time openings for the EXPANSION of our Destrehan, LA oilseed processing plant. Open roles include:

Process Operators
Operator Trainee

Plant runs 24/7 operations. Schedules will vary & will work a rotating 12 hr shift schedule. Overtime required as part of the normal schedule, call out availability, and an on-call rotation.

Core Functions:

Operate in the assigned production department of the oilseed processing facility, following all procedures & policies
Actively participate in all aspects of safety, including near-miss reporting and meetings

Follow all process safety procedures and controls
Understand and be able to clearly communicate throughout the facility
Demonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge-Act as One Team, Drive for Excellence, & Do What's Right
Other tasks and activities assigned

Skill/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, preferred
2 years of experience as a process tech or completed or actively working towards a 2-year Process Tech degree, preferred
Self-motivated individual who can work independently under little to no supervision
Ability to take instruction and follow directions, required
Comfortable working safely in high places.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong mechanical skills, preferred
Proficient in basic computer skills, preferred
Positive attitude & ability to work within a team atmosphere
