Job Description:
Candidates will perform service maintenance for New Holland agricultural machinery and/or related equipment or components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical, computer and structural repairs including welding.

Must be able to:

  • diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide quality repairs on agricultural equipment in both shop and field environment.
  • perform repairs under direct service departmental supervision, following established Original Equipment Manufacturing procedures and guidelines.
  • demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools
  • perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor, fellow employees and customers.


Qualifications:

  • mechanical experience in agricultural equipment, electrical diagnosis, trouble shooting, reading diagrams, diesel engines (common rail systems electronics injectors/ catalytic converter) hydraulic diagnosis and welding.
  • customer service oriented and have complete set of tools.
  • experience with troubleshooting and proficient in maintenance repair of tractors, combines, hay and forage equipment.
  • complete New Holland Level I technician training in 6 months and Level II in one year and achieve 80% competence or higher.
  • have valid driver's license, CDL preferred, and clean DMV record.
  • maintain current forklift operator training certification.
  • provide customer satisfaction by serving customers in a professional, speedy, and efficient manner.
  • be able to troubleshoot machine breakdowns, diagnose and provide estimated repairs for customers, perform diagnosis, and repairs at Brim Tractor service center and at customer job sites and utilize computer diagnostic equipment.
  • provide after-hours technical service, perform factory recommended preventative maintenance & inspection, ensure guards and safety devices are functioning properly, write clear parts requisitions and service write-ups and perform factory authorized warranty work.
  • maintain good attendance and punctuality.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000-$95,000 annual 

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
