Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified AZ Truck Driver to handle regional deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, dependable and flexible hours. Due to the nature of our business, we're looking for someone who enjoys early morning start times.

Responsibilities:

• Always operate all company assets defensively and courteously, within the requirements of the Highway Traffic Act and with due respect for public safety.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Transport goods and materials to various destinations across GTA and beyond as assigned, on time and in accordance with the customer's specifications
• Ensure proper securing of the load and PODs upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in accordance with MTO regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and fellow employees in a polite and friendly manner at all times.
• Present yourself in a clean and respectable manner.

Requirements:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with a valid AZ Driver’s License during the course of your employment.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum 3 years of AZ driving experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal & written)
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Knowledge of highway and city routes in Ontario and surrounding provinces/states.
• Flexibility with work schedules, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
