Job Description:

SUMMARY

Brandt Industries is seeking an Area Manager of Product Support based in Saskatchewan. The Area Manager of Product Support works directly with dealers of Brandt-manufactured products to resolve service issues, support parts performance, and drive overall customer satisfaction for Brandt agricultural equipment. This field-based role assists with technical diagnostics, ensures proper equipment setup, and supports warranty and product improvement programs. The position promotes parts programs, supports dealer parts inventory planning to meet seasonal demands, and provides training on systems and processes. As a key liaison between dealers, customers, and internal teams, this role gathers product feedback, reports field issues, and contributes to continuous product and service improvements.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Support

  • Work directly with dealers to diagnose and resolve service issues on Brandt agricultural products
  • Support dealers in assessing product concerns, determining warranty eligibility, and guiding the resolution and claim process
  • Communicate Product Improvement Programs (PIPs) to dealers, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion through follow-up and accountability
  • Assist dealers with proper setup and configuration of ag equipment to ensure optimal performance in the field
  • Lead coordination of major failure resolutions, collaborating with dealers, Territory Managers, and internal teams

 

Parts Support

  • Promote Brandt's Parts Booking Programs to support dealer stocking and grow parts sales
  • Assist with dealer parts inventory planning, ensuring key parts are available during peak seasons
  • Build strong working relationships with dealer Parts and Service personnel to improve support and responsiveness

 

Field Engagement

  • Travel with dealer reps to customer sites to assess performance, gather technical information, and observe field operation
  • Take measurements, confirm configurations, and troubleshoot equipment issues in real-world conditions
  • Conduct follow-up visits or calls to verify successful resolution of product concerns

 

Training & Process Support

  • Train dealer service staff on equipment setup, diagnostics, and service procedures specific to ag machinery
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to dealer parts, service, and administrative staff
  • Assist in creating training materials and deliver in-person coaching when required

 

Product Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Gather insights from the field and report product issues to internal Product Support, Engineering, and Quality teams
  • Provide practical feedback to help drive product enhancements and service process improvements
  • Support the implementation of Brandt's customer support strategy in alignment with dealer needs

 

Travel Requirement

  • This role requires up to 70% travel within the assigned region, based on seasonal demands and dealer support needs

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical thinking
  • High level of customer focus
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Mechanical Technologist or equivalent education/experience
  • Farm background or agricultural equipment experience considered an asset
