Job Description:
Do you have a passion for agriculture and want to be a part of a family owned and operated business with the same drive and passion? Our family dairy farm is seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience operating and maintaining farm equipment, including large series tractors, plows, seeders, discs, eliminators, swathers, choppers and harvesters as well as CAT equipment. We are also looking for someone who has experience driving semi trucks and trailers as well.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain farm equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
• Work collaboratively with other farm workers to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating farm equipment
• Knowledge of crop production techniques and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons
