PCA / Farm Manager – Almond Orchard (6,000 Acres)

We are looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable PCA (Pest Control Advisor) / Farm Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our 6,000-acre almond farm. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in almond production, pest and disease management, irrigation, and overall orchard health, with a proven ability to lead large teams and ensure high-yield, sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of almond orchard management, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvest.
• Provide PCA recommendations and ensure compliance with all agricultural regulations and safety standards.
• Supervise and manage field crews, equipment operators, and seasonal labor.
• Develop and implement annual crop plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor orchard health, soil conditions, and crop performance using precision agriculture tools.
• Coordinate with agronomists, consultants, and suppliers to ensure optimal input use and yield.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on farm operations and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Valid PCA license (required).
• Extensive experience managing large-scale almond farms or similar permanent crops.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in farm management software and ag-tech tools.
• Ability to work long hours during peak seasons and adapt to changing weather and market conditions.
