About the Role

As a Can Grow Crop Solutions Sales Representative, you’ll drive expansion in Essex-Kent Counties by building strong grower relationships.

 

Can Grow's product line is built to unlock soil performance and maximize crop yields and returns to our customers. You’ll operate managing your schedule, network and strategy, while leaning on our senior team for technical training, marketing support, and product expertise.

 

The successful candidate can expect a mix of field work, sales meetings, on-farm visits, and ongoing follow-up to cultivate meaningful, long-term customer partnerships.

 

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Crop Solutions Agronomist to join our Can Grow team in Essex - Kent Counties. Based at your regional location, this role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver effective crop nutrition solutions and sustainable agricultural practices.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect, interview, and onboard new growers within Essex- Kent Counties.
  • Conduct on-farm meetings, demos, soil health discussions, and annual planning conversations.
  • Deliver product knowledge with confidence, supported by the Can Grow team of Agronomists.
  • Attend local trade shows, grower events, and field days to showcase the Can Grow brand.
  • Provide market feedback to leadership, including trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Maintain professional communication, timely follow-ups, and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with farmers and agricultural partners to develop tailored fertilization plans.
  • Conduct field assessments and analyze soil health to optimize fertilizer use.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in agronomy and sustainable farming.

 

Experience Requirements

  • Proven sales/support experience in agriculture, input sales, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of crop production, soil health concepts, and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Self-starter with excellent management habits.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within region.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or College degree in Agriculture, or related field.

  • Knowledge of regional crops and climate conditions is a plus.
