Seed Engineer Co-Op 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

• Support front-end definition and construction support of seed processing intensive projects;
• This includes including defining functional specifications, process flows, capacity parameters, equipment layouts, process and control descriptions, information in support of environmental permits, building layouts, plot plans, periodic reviews and startup support;
• In addition, this role might also be asked to support project execution efforts such as project administration and coordination.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Ag Mechanization or related engineering program;
• Completed at least 1 year in a Bachelors program;
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale;
• Agricultural background;
• Experience with seed production/processing or grain/bulk material handling.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $30.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..  This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant s location, market data/ranges, an applicant s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
