The primary responsibilities of this role, SDS support, are to: 


  • Oversee all electronic and paper submissions via software tools (VEEVA, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) in close communication with regulatory affairs managers (RAMs) for submission to regulatory authorities;
  • Ensure high quality of submission package in regard of document formatting and indexing, including both pre consultation with GRMs, Regional and Country RAMs in collaboration with external consultants as well as follow-up on submission adequacy and quality;
  • Serve as the expert to collect data for various requests such as data compensation, litigations, divestments and transfers of assets projects from the business and/or other functional departments;
  • Manage and direct activities involving relative registration archives (storage and retrieval of archived Regulatory Affairs documents, study reports, risk assessments, labeling, confidential specification/formula documents) in compliance with the company Records Retention Policy and worldwide regulatory recordkeeping regulations in conjunction with external contractors;
  • Support the Reg Operations Lead in the development of training concepts and materials and perform regular training sessions for regulatory related processes, systems and tools for all personnel in the company;
  • Facilitate the implementation of existing and new Information Technology (IT) tools and environments as a change coach;
  • Provide expert advice to Regulatory Affairs teams on information and documentation problems both proactively and on demand;
  • Identify and implement electronic solutions and processes to meet user needs and increase efficiency of departments.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience or Master of Science with at least five years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with at least three years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent records management skills and training;
  • Sound understanding of record maintenance requirements and government recordkeeping processes;
  • Computer literacy (including use of databases and other electronic documents management tools, word processing, and e-mail);
  • Good communication, teaching and presentation skills;
  • Highly-skilled at meeting deadlines and assessing/juggling shifting priorities in a rapid-pace regulatory environment;
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • High standards of personal accuracy, initiative, a strong service orientation, effective oral and written communication skills good interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Information technology (IT field experience).
