Process Coordinator 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Process Coordinator supports all site operations through process planning, project management, and continuous improvement to enable production goals, materials, standards, and objectives required to meet the needs of upstream and downstream customers.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Process Coordinator, are:

 

  • Support all plant and field operations squads to enable the production of the highest quality product in accordance with all forecasted demand;
  • Embrace and demonstrate a safety-first culture at all times;
  • Support the safe and timely delivery of quality supply based on production schedules while maintaining an efficient operation.  Perform duties in a manner that support the overall site including Safety, Quality, and cost efficiency;
  • The Process Coordinator should maintain a strong relationship with the team and other site and site support personnel to support operations at the site and resolve production challenges;
  • Adapt quickly to changes in the business, courageously face new challenges and opportunities, ensure the highest level of compliance and safety around them to the quality and safety standards are achieved in all activities;
  • Provide timely technical support where needed to ensure the best customer experience possible;
  • Position entails driving a company vehicle. This may include being required to drive greater than 5,000 business miles annually in a personal, pooled, or rented vehicle OR being expected to frequently drive a pooled car as part of your job duties - regardless of mileage.

 

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

 

Required Qualifications:     

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, technical support or safety;
  • Valid Driver's License; (in order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company's risk screening for hiring drivers - MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening);
  • Proficiency in standard computer programs (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, tablets/smart devices);
  • Ability to critically think about the business.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. (a bag of seed);
  • Ability to work days, nights, rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as business needs require.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Area of study in preferred disciplines: Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field;
  • Experience with SAP or similar supply chain systems;
  • Experience in lean manufacturing systems;
  • Knowledge in seed production and seed quality standards.

 

 

Domestic relocation assistance may be provided for this role.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $68,993.60 - $103,490.40. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
