Master Data Specialist
Manage and govern VS Global Master Data creation, maintenance, and data integrity in key systems of customer, material, pricing, and other data impacting all of Vegetable Seeds Product Supply, Commercial and R&D.
Validate and implement data quality improvements and changes collaborating with Global Vegetable Seeds Enterprise.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for the creation & maintenance of Global Vegetable Seeds Master Data within various systems (SAP, Lexicon, SFDC, etc.) to ensure the availability of timely, accurate, high quality master data.
Provide support for the cross-functional end-to-end material creation process, working with planning, production, operations, finance, customer service, etc team members to identify and resolve issues.
Perform data analysis and troubleshooting regarding seed materials, labeling, packaging, treatment, product restrictions, and other information across multiple systems.
Conduct data scrubbing to rid the system of old, unused, incorrect, or duplicate data for better business management and reporting.
Ensure data quality metrics are meeting appropriate threshold.
Perform audits on master data to ensure quality and implement corrective actions to resolve gaps.
Participate on or manage small master data projects within and outside the team.
Coordinate with IT support for enhancements and production support issues.
Develop and implement process improvements and system enhancements within Master Data to promote streamlined processes.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant data experience
Experience in ERP data governance, data management or working with master data or supply chain data preferred
Detail oriented and highly focused on delivering results
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems
Effective and detailed oral and written communication and listening skills
Fast learner; Seeks to understand process
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $71,596.80 - $107,395.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
