YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

• Identify and compare different transfection methods for insect cells;
• Optimize and standardize transfection methods;
• Verify the protocols by various cell biology stains and quantitative analysis;
• Self-motivated to communicate and seek solutions for any challenges;
• Present the progress and results with the team;
• Document protocols in detail for all workflows and ensure knowledge transfer to CSI team members;
• Comply with all safety, stewardship, andIT/information security policies and regulations.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Must be registered and currently enrolled in a graduate program – PhD or MS - Pursuing a degree in related areas;
• Prior experience with insect and/or cell-based assays;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
