YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

• Assist in experimental design and data collection in consultation with the project team;
• Conduct laboratory experiments, including sample processing and data analysis;
• Analyze data and contribute to discussions with the project team to draw meaningful conclusions;
• Help manage data and maintain internal documentation;
• Present findings and updates to the team and participate in group discussions.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree (B.S. or M.S.) in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar field;
• Relevant coursework or research experience in industrial wastewater treatment, microbiology for wastewater treatment, or data science in environmental engineering;
• Wet-lab experience, including sample collection and analysis;
• Familiarity with data science tools and software (e.g., R, Python, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly;
• Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $25.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..  This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
