What You Will Do
The Automation Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of automated control systems at the site. Automation technicians will work closely with multiple support groups to ensure continuous availability, continuous improvement and reliability of the automated systems. Support groups include, but not limited to, maintenance, safety, quality, operations, regional automation engineering, IT, and others. In addition, the automation technician will work with 3rd party system integrators to ensure delivery of capital projects at the site. Additionally, the Automation Technician will provide initial support to Bayer IT team for troubleshooting and/or project support. The Automation Technician will also be responsible for utilizing the SAP Maintenance Connect (or equivalent) for work order initiation, tracking, and completion.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 35.97-40.57 per hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
