The Product Adoption & Optimization Specialist (PAOS) responsibilities include pre/post sale clinical support (product presentations/demos/trials), clinical project management, workflow assessments and product features adoption. The PAOS will lead customer engagements to ensure product utilization through enhancing the customer experience. The PAOS will use clinical expertise of product functionalities to provide guidance and recommendations to customers to ensure focus product optimization and adoption leading to gold standard customer satisfaction.

What you will do:

  • As a member of the Regional Customer Experience Squad, the PAOS will support the sales team to understand customer objectives earlier in the sales process and to highlight areas of opportunity where Bayer products provide a clear benefit when utilized effectively.
  • Lead and/or support product presentations, demonstrations and trials.
  • Ensure focus product adoption and utilization by leading project. management from customer kick-off to in-service/implementation.
  • Conduct workflow assessments by leveraging clinical expertise resulting in solution recommendation that enhances the Bayer value.
  • Key participant with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Must Win Outcomes and Deliverables are on track and expectations are clear.
  • Act as the primary conduit for all inquiries (internal/external) requiring clinical expertise; particularly with focus product.
  • Ability to create clinical business outcomes and track key milestones and drive dates for completion.
  • Perform customer stakeholder mapping, explore customers desired outcome objectives, collaborate with key customer stakeholders to create success plans and champion executive business reviews.
  • Ensure the customer can effectively use the solution to maximize their productivity and long-term success.
  • Ability to learn, adopt and utilize EVS (extrinsic value selling) skills around contrast, device & software, from a clinical perspective, as well as overcoming objections and positioning our products as a whole portfolio, which ultimately supports our solution provider strategy.
  • Recognize and support segmentation as an organizational strategy by providing feedback and data to support the customer goals.


Who you are:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Radiology Imaging: Preferably at least one of MRI, CT, MRI, Molecular Imaging and/or X-ray (specifically Cardiovascular Imaging)
  • MRT Certification/Radiologic Technologist Strong skills using Microsoft and Office Professional components.
  • Exposure and experience providing consultative solutions to customers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to take technical data and effectively communicate and tailor the message based on customer audience.
  • Proven ability to effectively consult with customers to help them understand and adopt product solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinical and technical customers resources.
  • Previous experience on influencing workflow changes and securing buy in.
  • Previous experience on working with large complex project implementations.
  • Exceptional organizational, assessment and planning skills. Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated resiliency and experience managing difficult challenging conversations.
  • Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel 50 - 70% (overnights)

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $127,000
